Curriculum and Teacher Training

Online, self study, no cost materials for teachers

Schools can start a Translation and Interpretation Program for bilingual high school students using this complete curriculum and these teacher training materials.

In this program, students are introduced to a variety of exciting, well-paying careers where knowledge of more than one language and culture are important. Students learn and practice professional interpreting skills. They learn and practice the process used by professionals to produce written translations. They study professional ethics (what to do and what not to do). And in the process, they develop increased vocabulary and better reading, writing and speaking skills in both of their languages.
